Aunt Rosey, Niece Sophie
On Friday my older brother and his wife brought the first baby in our family into the world. Meet Sophie! They're at home now, and I made this quick sketch when mum brought dinner over for them tonight. At the hospital, I was taken by how relaxed and NATURAL both my brother and his wife looked as parents, when Rol carried the baby snuggly in one arm for a photo, and as we were leaving and Waan put the baby on the bed in front of her, arranging her clothes. They looked so...beautiful!
