


So speaking of natural history illustration, that is something I've always thought would be an ideal job. To get to observe and be in the outdoors, and carefully draw a perfect representation. When I studied Zoology, drawing diagrams and sketches in the lab and on field trips was by far my most favourite thing of the whole course. Man I miss those Zoology days.
Here's a painting that I did a few years ago of a real bumble bee I found (dead) and pinned (I also loved entomology in Zool). This painting was for when I was thinking of applying for a Natural History course in the University of Newcastle.
